What is LLN requirements?

LLN stands for Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN)

To be eligible for some courses at Breight Training, you must meet minimum Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) requirements.

This is assessed through an online LLN test, which you’ll need to successfully complete before starting your studies.

The test evaluates your ability across the five core skills in the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF):

  1. Reading
  2. Writing
  3. Learning
  4. Oral Communication
  5. Numeracy

Questions may include multiple choice, drag and drop, re-ordering, text entry, point and click, and basic calculations.

The purpose of the LLN test is to make sure you have the skills needed to complete your course successfully and to support you in preparing for the workplace. You only need to complete the LLN test once, unless you are returning to study after a long break, in which case you may be asked to complete it again at the discretion of Breight Training.

Will I automatically get a job?

Completing this course does not automatically guarantee you a job. What it does provide is the qualifications and skills needed to apply for roles that require these certifications. We also work closely with Breight Group, and if a suitable opportunity arises, we will discuss the recruitment process with you once you have successfully completed your training.
